Application Area:

Winding and unwinding of web materials, particularly for tensioning coreless coils. This decoiler is primarily used for feeding fully or semi-automatic punching presses. The unit is typically mounted onto a decoiler frame provided by the customer.

Function:

Tensioning bars, evenly distributed around the circumference of the decoiler, are pushed outward via axial adjustment of the internal mechanism to securely clamp the previously loaded coil. The clamping force can be continuously adjusted by the operator. Axial movement is initiated by a centrally positioned threaded spindle, manually operated using a handwheel. To load a coil onto the decoiler, only the front-mounted flange disc – secured with star grips – needs to be removed and then reattached after the coil is in place.
